¹⁵ Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. ¹⁶ For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life^[a]—is not from the Father but is from the world. ¹⁷ And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever. ^{1 John 2:15-17}

To find opportunity and words to talk about spiritual things to children is not always easy. However, it is important to engage their minds and hearts. This is something easily forgotten. Here’s a simple lesson to share:

There are two spiritual forces: good and evil.

The good one defends the Kingdom. The evil one attacks.

The evil army uses lies as its main weapon. It retreats from time to time only to attack again when we are distracted with the things of this world and take our eyes of what we are suppose to be doing.

Another weapon is fear; fear of darkness, to be bullied, to be alone and more.

In God’s army – the good one- there are many World Shapers Club warrior children. They believe and have faith. Their weapons are praise and prayers. They are not distracted.

God’s global, WSC army is linking together in prayer for others and helping the needy. As we submit our prayers together, we get stronger and the enemy flees from us.
