This message, declared by 7-year-old “babe,” Jason, during a prayer event with the children in a large church in California is worth revisiting. Upon my request, the Children’s Pastors, teachers, workers and some parents had come to be observers. Out of the mouth of babes, indeed!

After the children had, by faith, wildly celebrated answers to their spirited intercession, I had instructed them to quietly listen to the Holy Spirit, write down a word He impressed upon them and bring it to me.

Well, in no time, Jason appeared to declare that jaw-dropping Holy Spirit “dispatch.” “Wow, Jason!” I said for all to hear, “That’s a really powerful word for all the unbelievers out there.” Quickly correcting me, he exclaimed, “Oh, no, Miss Esther, it’s for churches and pastors and Christians!”

Well, the corporate gasp from the “observation deck” and the loudest silence ever that followed left them – and me – momentarily rattled, but the unflappable “babe” continued, “Well, He told me it’s not preached about enough in churches and a lot of Christians act like they’ve forgotten.”

The quick repentance I led everyone in cleared the air for the time being and the other “babes” eagerly waiting to give their “simply profound” word, got their turn.

I so clearly recall that, at the close of a great morning with those amazing “babes,” I had glared at my still-somewhat-in-shock observers and elatedly recited my, “TOLD YOU SO!” mantra. It always gives me – and the “babes” – such delight!

I came across this gem while rummaging through a stack of past assignments. Do you suppose it just might be a “NOW!” word?

I leave it up to you to do with it whatever you want. However, on behalf of a “babe” who heard from God, I repeat his message…
