Living the victorious Christian life is impossible without the flame of the Spirit burning bright.

We need to seek God on a regular basis to be filled with the presence of the Holy Spirit. The same Spirit we received when we were born again; when we accepted Jesus Christ as our Savior.

So, how do we fill ourselves with the Holy Spirit’s presence? Praying and meditating on the character and attributes of God; keeping our minds set on truth; engaging in communicating with God; worshiping God—these things draw us into His presence.

Some struggle every day with anxiety, depression or anger. Others are dealing with the consequences of bad choices made in the past. Whatever the hardship, prayer will deliver victory!

When we turn prayer into something more than a casual commitment, we experience the ongoing filling of God’s Spirit. Commit to daily seeking God. He will delight in providing all we need to start enjoying life again.
