“Gender unicorns” in our primary schools, firings for getting our pronouns wrong, men in women’s bathrooms and boys in girls locker rooms – how low will the devil go?

I’m not just talking about “low” as in “common, ordinary or base,” I am also talking about age. At how low in age does the devil begin harassing, deceiving, seducing our children? Certainly his attacks on our children are not limited to sexuality but that seems to be one of the most prominent today along with drugs.

WAKE UP CHURCH!

We cannot continue to feed our children on “milk” (for six or more years – kindergarten through 6th grade) while the enemy ravages them. Get the job done, parents, pastors, teachers…introduce them to Jesus and the heroes of the faith. Give them a firm foundation. Then, move on to the “meat” of the Word.

14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

14 But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.

Whether you prefer the word “mature” or the term “full age” here, the interpretation is not limited to one of “adult.” The Holy Spirit has no age. There is no Jr. Holy Spirit. Children will mature in their faith commensurate with the “meat” they are fed and the opportunities given them to exercise their (spiritual) senses to discern good from evil and know what to do about it!

Here we go again thinking that children must “wait.” Ask the millions of Millennials (more than 50% of whom were raised with a witness of the Gospel) what happened while they “waited” for the Church to make room for them. Now, they say they have no use for the Church. Well, God has use for them!

Today’s children are not “waiting.” They are ready NOW to be recognized, equipped and released to intercede, tear down strongholds, lay hands on the sick, preach the word, prophesy, praise etc., etc. We call them GenerationNow. (#GenerationNow) They have been birthed for such a (critical) time as this with all forms of ministry in their spiritual DNA.

The time is NOW! Lay a strong foundation but do not neglect to quickly build upon it (precept upon precept) with the truth of who Jesus is in them and who they are in Him – invincible! Plus, we just have to say, they make great prayer partners! #GenerationNow
