One of the highlights of my recent trip to Uganda was getting to finally meet Miss Vicky Edith, our WSC October calendar author, for the first time! Eldest daughter of Head Teacher John Ssentamu and wife, Gertrude, of Good Shepherd Primary School, Vicky welcomed me for a short visit at her secondary school, Blessed Sacrament, where she is a serious 3rd-year student. It is my pleasure to introduce her to all of you.

It was a special time which began with a big hug and ended with the surprise (to me) appointment of one of Vicky’s teachers as staff sponsor for our first secondary school World Shapers Club!

Let’s all pray for Vicky as she continues her studies and shares the WSC calendar with her friends.
