I must share with you the great surprise I had three weeks ago when I opened my email one morning. But, let me tell you the back story first…

Our Brother, John Ssentamu, Head Teacher at Good Shepherd Primary School in Uganda, has a lovely wife and three children. The eldest, Miss Vicky Edith, loves God’s Word! In fact, a few months ago she carefully and respectfully challenged me as to why we only have one scripture verse on the calendar each month and not one for each day. SELAH I must admit that she wasn’t the first to have asked the question!

The answer is: time and space.

Since then, I have been encouraging Vicky to contribute to the calendar or write an article for the newsletter…I was unsuccessful until that fateful morning mentioned above.

I opened the email from Uganda and saw the entire October WSC calendar done by…VICKY EDITH! And yes, there is more than one scripture. There are two! Perhaps we’ll keep improving that statistic…

Miss Vicky has declined to include a picture of herself so, I guess I’ll have have to bring one back with me and share it with you all next month.
