Update on our valiant and faith-full World Shaper, Nicky, from Jamaica!

The title of this article comes from a question Nicky asked her Mother soon after the first, post-shooting surgery. Doctors had said Nicky would be a paraplegic and were hoping she would be able to sit up with the aid of a heavy, metal brace. Nicky asked her Mother, “Where are my shoes?” When her Mother asked why she was looking for her shoes, Nicky replied, “I will need them when I walk again!”

“Nicky can now STAND! Holding on to the grillwork, she took 2 baby steps– one forward out of the wheelchair and one backwards to sit back in the wheelchair.

Keep praying.”

I can’t help but think that God tells us we have to be just like Nicky if we want to see the Kingdom…full of faith! Let’s believe for complete healing for Nicky and remember her Mother and sisters, too.
