May World Shapers Club Missives from Morningside!
Yes, some of our newest World Shapers, have “caught the vision” – BIG TIME! The 2nd-5th grade students at Morningside Academy in Pt. St. Lucie, FL (assisted by their Principal, their teachers and our ever-encouraging, Ms. Sonia Morley) are responsible for this month’s World Shapers Prayer Calendar.

THANK YOU, MORNINGSIDE ACADEMY, GREAT JOB!
Sonia shared with me how both happy and sad her heart was to see the children’s prayer request for May 1st: Pray for children who are missing; that they may be found and returned home.
Obviously, Sonia’s heart was sad about missing children. However, she was also gladdened to see how the students’ hearts had been impacted by recent Amber Alerts for children missing in their own area. That is one thing we who have the privilege of working with children quickly learn – never to underestimate them! God surely doesn’t.
I’ll leave you with what Esther so often says to the children, “I want to be just like you. Jesus said I need to be like a little child if I want to be in Heaven with him!”

Oh, one more thing…when you get to praying over the nations mentioned in this month’s calendar, you’ll want to know that the parents of some of these students are missionaries there!
