When God created you, He had ONLY YOU in mind. Now, that should make your day!

In chapter 5, verse 26  of the Apostle Paul’s letter to the Galatians, He sums it all up in His ingenuous style of building up/admonishing, with this reassuring remark:

“…we will not compare ourselves with each other as if one of us were better and another worse. We have far more interesting things to do with our lives. Each of us is an original.” (The Msg)

I’m reminded that even identical twins don’t have, among other things, identical fingerprints.

The Psalmist so eloquently tells us that we are wonderfully made…” intricately (ahem…and curiously) wrought….embroidered with various colors (139:15 Ampl.) Take me, for instance. I often smilingly refer to myself as being “wired weird.”

I continually remind myself, my family and anyone else within hearing distance, of this:

“When interacting with or thinking about, or having an opinion of or praying for others, remember, everyone is coming from somewhere.”

When praying for “enemies”, whether personal, political, spiritual or whatever, do you ever wonder how they came to be what they are? Perhaps God wants us to remember WHAT HE CREATED THEM TO ORIGINALLY BE BEFORE SIN INVADED PLANET EARTH and to pray for their HUMANITY, THEIR SOULS and their eternal destiny.

Selah…

…for such a (riven!) time as this,

Esther
