These are the faces of some of our World Shapers who are awaiting my arrival in Uganda next month. I can’t wait to get there and pray with them!

The really cool thing is that our relationship with Head Teacher, John Ssentamu, and Good Shepherd Primary School began with the prayers of a small, InterGenerational group of World Shapers in Boone, NC.

Family Prayer Day is a, once-a-month, prayer-set at Appalachian House of Prayer in Boone that began last October. Our pray-ers are ages 3-70! We began by praying for children/schools in Africa and God has had our prayerful attention on those nations for almost a year now. He has answered a lot of our prayers!

One of those answers is the invitation from the Anglican Church of Uganda to start WSC in the churches and schools of one of their local districts – it’s called a “Deanery.” My October visit will lay the foundation for WSC there. Next June we plan to take a team from the US to partner with Esther’s Prayer Brigade and visit with more families, schools and churches in the area.
