A long day, end in sight and an eagerly awaited “vacation” about to commence. One fateful decision later…see pictures above and, below!

So, here’s the wisdom learned…NEVER STEP OVER THE GAS HOSE while filling your tank…especially with the leash to your (just freed from 13 hours of back seat driving) dog in the other hand. Doesn’t work. Trust me.

Ten screws and one “plate” later, I am recovering in a rehab facility in FL and Bill is back in NC. Please pray the breaks and repairs heal quickly and well. Pray that bone spurs do not develop and the metal pieces are not rejected. Also, please pray that $$ come in for our October assignment in Uganda and I am able to get on the plane! “Piece of Cake!” Right?! NOTHING is too difficult for God. (Mt. 19:26)

MANY thanks for all the prayers already and your love and encouragement. First answer is that the pain is so manageable – a MIRACLE to be sure!

Please pray also for our “GUY”, my husband, Bill. He is bereft of both his wife and dog and needs some loving prayer.

I pray that, according to James 5:16, your prayers for me will return to you and your needs will also be met by our gracious Lord.

Thank you,

Mary
