1. A state of famine has been declared by the government of Uganda. Please pray for Head Teacher, John, at Good Shepherd Primary School and all the children and young people of Esther’s Prayer Brigade there. They are serious World Shapers in need of prayer. God did send rain and they have planted crops. Please pray the crops will develop and yield well.
  2. Pray for Timothy School in S. Sudan. Leaders there are hoping to begin a feeding program for the 700+ students they have enrolled for this term. It will take a lot of “little” miracles! They also need a well. The good news is that families are actually moving to the area so that children don’t have to walk so far for school!
  3. Brother and Sister Paresh in India thank you for your prayers for Joshua to have his fees for school. Here’s a great picture of our World Shaper heading to school for the new term. Pray for more of the children’s groups in India to catch the vision for global prayer and for all the discipleship classes being taught to adults. OH! Also pray for the micro sewing business Mrs. Arnika is beginning with the ladies.  ALERT!: A last minute message from Brother Paresh gives insight into the increasing persecution of Christians in India from radical Hindus. We will give more information on that in the next newsletter. For now, please take this additional request to prayer: Pray for Christian girls placed under house arrest by their families because of their faith.
  4.  Pray that all the contacts for World Shapers Club that were made at the Heart-Cry/Fusion Conference in Asheville, NC (US) last week will result in many more prayer partners.
  5. Pray for Mary as she goes to Germany for the International Prayer Leaders Consultation. Pray also for Jeffrey and Irene Chew (ENI/WSC Reps from Malaysia) who will be presenting at the conference. Ask God to launch a WSC movement in Europe!
